Event Highlights:
8.00 - 8.30 am: Welcome, History of Kdham/ Introduction (Yogic Philosophy)
8.30 am – 9.30 am: Sukshma Vyayam, Gentle Asanas (Postures), Gentle Hatha Yoga, Shavasana.
We’ll begin with a dynamic warm-up sequence to improve circulation, ease joint mobility and flexibility, then move into gentle Asanas that are not just postures but have psychophysiological and psycho-spiritual effects. Asanas act as bridges to unite the body with the mind, and the mind with the soul.
9.30 am – 10.45 am: Introduction and Practice of Yogic Breathing/ Pranayam, followed by Meditation (Ajapa japa)
10.45 - 11.00 am: Refreshing Herbal Tea Break
11.00 - 11.30 am: Mantra/ Stotra Chanting (Gayatri Mantra 21 times, Om Chanting, Om Stavan)
11.30 -12.00 noon: Q & A Break
12.00 – 1.00 pm: Hot Satvic Nourishing Lunch (Vegetarian (Gluten free))
1.00 pm – 2.30 pm: Optimizing Gut Health - Integrating Yoga and Holistic Approaches Dr. Vidhya Udare
2.30 – 2.45 pm: Tranquilizing Herbal Tea break
2.45 pm – 3.30 pm: Tratak (Yogic gazing purification practice)
Trataka is one of the shatkriyas (cleansing practice) described in Hatha Yoga Pradipika. It involves sustained gazing at a fixed point, like a candle flame, for a specific duration. It is believed to improve concentration and purify the mind, paving the way for deeper meditation.
3.30 pm - 4.00 pm: K-Shava Complete Relaxation of Muscles (By Dr. Vartika Dubey)
The aim of K-Shav CRM is to guide a person to completely relax their muscles and introduce rhythm in the flow of breath. This practice is introduced in stages over a period of several weeks to ensure the deeper relaxation of muscles. In this session (stage one), we will slowly relax the muscles’ part by part with concentration and an intention to connect it with our conscious mind.

Dr. Vidhya Udare:
Vidhya Udare discovered he passion for Yoga during her medical training, where she was deeply inspired by a senior physician who skillfully integrated Yoga with medicine to address complex health conditions. This transformative experience led her to begin her formal Yoga journey at the renowned Kaivalyadhama Institute - one of India’s oldest and most respected Yoga schools—where she studied Traditional Yoga under the guidance of highly experienced teachers. Her passion for Yoga led her to became a certified RYT 300 Advanced Yoga Teacher and she was honored as the "Best Student of the Batch". She has also completed multiple certification courses in Meditation, Chakra Meditation, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Pranayama from various esteemed Yoga institutions across India.
Her evidence based approach ensures personalized care each individual integrating the complementary strengths of Homeopathic medicine, Functional Medicine, and Yoga therapy. These three sciences share a foundational philosophy: to view the individual as a whole - physiological, mental, emotional and spiritual level.” As it is beautifully stated, "Yoga Chikitsa is the dynamic state of physical and mental ease, coupled with spiritual well-being”.
Dr. Vartika Dubey:
Vartika Dubey, Ph.D., is the daughter of Shri O.P. Tiwari and
disciple of Swami Digamberji. She started the Kaivalyadhama Health & Yoga Research Center, Inc., USA, also known as Kaivalyadhama, USA in 1997 with Dr. Subhash. The center conducts its activities mainly in New York and in North Carolina. Vartika is the Yoga teacher and day-to-day
operations manager mainly for the New York center. She has been trained in Pranayama by her father and has had the blessings of her Guru and father both to teach Pranayama.
